Boyd Hydrogen, LLC (BoydH2) has the technical expertise to support all phases of hydrogen projects from concept through operation.

BoydH2 Incorporated in 2011 to support a wide range of clients involved in the pathways to a hydrogen-powered future. Clients have included technology providers, hydrogen vehicle fuelling station developers and operators. BoydH2 has supported Department of Energy funded research, state and local government agencies including safety reviews for local fire departments.

Process Hazards Analyses (PHA) methods are used to quantify and manage risk through the development, design, build, test and deployment processes. Risk Reviews validate a design and may result in action items that require additional layers of protection before design certification.

BoydH2 can support project development from evaluation of concept ideas to project planning, permitting and execution. All projects start with a techno-economic evaluation and preliminary risk review. The best projects end with operating hardware on the ground.

Regulation, Codes & Standards Development

Since 2001, BoydH2 has been supporting the development of technical standards for hydrogen vehicle fueling and the components (devices) that make up the fueling dispensers and stations.
